I want my PS2 games on iPhone without guessing the build

Press one button and Surume, the PS2 emulator for iOS, reads your iOS version and shows the install made for your device.

A short check comes first, then the 896 MB install.

What you bring

Surume runs the PS2 games you own. Bring the game files copied from your own discs, an iPhone or an iPad, and room for the 896 MB install.

The discs that ran on this console are where your game files come from.

How the match works

You press the button on this page, and the next page checks each console on your device and the iOS version it runs.

It then shows the install prepared for that device, so there is no build to pick by hand.

A quick check starts the install, and the app opens in your language: it comes in eleven.

What it won't do

It does not come with games. Copy the discs you own first: those files are what Surume plays.

PS1 support is partial. If a PS1 game is the one you want, read the PS1 line of the check before you install.

Questions

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. Surume is made for iPhone and iPad, and the check reads which of the two you hold.

Do I pick the iOS build myself?

No. The check reads your iOS version and shows the install prepared for it.

Where do PS2 game files come from?

From discs you own. The PS2 read its games from a built-in DVD drive, and a copy of your own disc is the file the emulator runs.

How much space does it need?

896 MB for the install, plus room for your game files.

Which other consoles does it run?

PS3, PS4 and PS Vita games you own, and PS1 games in part.

The button takes you to the Surume page, which has its own rules.
